Situated in one of the best areas of Chamonix, Chalet Ingrid is walking distance to just about everything you need for your holiday. The town, and all its shops, restaurants and bars, are less than ten minutes walk away. The sports centre with its Olympic indoor and outdoor pool, ice skating and tennis club is barely 5 minutes away. And the popular MBC - Micro Brewery of Chamonix - is literally just around the corner.

is world famousfor being one of the best ski and boarding locations. Its an incredible location
with skiing in numerous resorts: Les Houches, Brevent, Flegere, Argentiere (Grands Montet) and Le Tour / Balme.
Chamonix is also extremely popular in summer for mountain climbing, especially Mont Blanc, and also for mountain biking, treking, or just simply enjoying the healthy mountain air.

How to get there
Airport: Geneva: 90.0 km
The Chalet Ingrid Chamonix is very close to the centre of Chamonix, and just a few minutes from the Autoroute Blanche motorway so there are no twisting mountain roads to navigate.
One option is to fly to Geneva and take one of the numerous shuttle companies which offer a door to door service (such as ChamVan, ChamExpress and Alpybus)
Its also easy to
hire a car at Geneva
airport and to drive to Chamonix in barely 60 minutes - virtually the whole route is by motorway - Chamonix is only 7 hours from Calais, so its easy to drive from the UK - once in Chamonix, there are excellent, free local buses connecting all the ski areas, and the nearest stop is about 3 minutes walk from the chalet.
